SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
DitropGo (“DitropGo,” “we,” or “our”) offers both recurring and occasional one-time or limited-duration text message programs. These SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions (the “SMS Terms”) govern your participation in DitropGo’s SMS programs (the “DitropGo SMS Program”). By subscribing to receive text messages from DitropGo, you agree to these SMS Terms as well as DitropGo’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These SMS Terms are incorporated by reference into DitropGo’s Terms of Service.
By opting into the DitropGo SMS Program, you expressly consent to receive transactional and marketing text messages from DitropGo, via automated or manual methods, including, but not limited to, updates, promotions, account alerts, and service notifications.
2. Consent & Opt-In
By enrolling in the DitropGo SMS Program, you:
- Provide express, informed consent to receive automated text messages at the mobile number you provide;
- Acknowledge that consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition for purchasing goods or services from DitropGo;
- May opt-in through online forms, app sign-ups, booking confirmations, or other designated enrollment processes; and
- Understand that message frequency may vary depending on service updates, promotions, or operational needs.
2.1 Message Types
You may receive the following types of messages:
- Transactional Messages: Ride confirmations, receipts, trip updates, account alerts, and other service-related notifications.
- Promotional Messages: Special offers, discounts, and other marketing communications.
Engagement Messages: Surveys, feedback requests, reminder notifications, and other interactive messages.
3. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. DitropGo is not liable for any charges, fees, or taxes incurred by your wireless provider. You are solely responsible for all such charges. Please consult your mobile carrier for applicable fees.
4. Opt-Out & Unsubscribe
You may opt-out of the DitropGo SMS Program at any time by:
- Texting “STOP” to the number from which you received messages.
- You will receive a final confirmation message confirming your opt-out request.
After opting out, you may still receive transactional messages (e.g., ride confirmations, security notifications). For further assistance, contact DitropGo Support:

5. Supported Carriers & Delivery
DitropGo does not guarantee the successful delivery of SMS messages and is not responsible for delays, filtering, or non-receipt due to carrier restrictions, technical failures, or other factors beyond DitropGo’s control.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DITROPGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY COSTS, FEES, EXPENSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM MESSAGE DELIVERY DELAYS, FILTERING, NON-RECEIPT, OR TECHNICAL FAILURES.
6. Privacy & Data Security
DitropGo respects your privacy and does not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Your information will be used, stored, and processed in accordance with DitropGo’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws. Data collected may include your mobile number, ride history, preferences, and interactions with DitropGo SMS communications.
7. Changes to SMS Terms
DitropGo reserves the right to update these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes affecting user consent, message frequency, or opt-out procedures will be communicated via SMS or email and posted on our website. Continued use of the DitropGo SMS Program constitutes acceptance of updated SMS Terms.
8. Compliance with CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation)
DitropGo complies with CASL and ensures:
- Messages are sent only to users who have provided express or implied consent;
- A clear opt-out mechanism (e.g., “STOP”) is available; and
- All messages contain DitropGo’s identification and contact information.

9. Disputes
Any disputes arising from these SMS Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in DitropGo’s Terms of Service.
